Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries is an organization providing affordable, high-quality food to those in need. AFM provides individuals and families with fresh, brand name food for a fraction of the retail price. By purchasing food in bulk, directly from some of the top suppliers in the country, food is discounted by up to 50% of retail. A standard medium-sized box of food may be purchased for $30, and contains top quality food staples from every food group, including chicken or beef, milk, eggs, vegetables and fruits. Each of the regular boxes of food feeds a family of four for about one week, or a single individual for almost a month. The menu selections vary each month, and consist of both fresh and frozen items, saving Americans money with no sacrifice to quality. AFM services are for everyone, regardless of economic circumstances. There are no limits to the quantity of boxes per individual, nor are there any applications or qualifications for eligibility. Today AFM serves hundreds of thousands of families across 37 states and the District of Columbia. AFM helps every local "host site" with direct financial donations in proportion with the number of units distributed from a site. Since 1994, over $14 million has been donated back to houses of worship, community centers and other "host sites" throughout the country. At the core of AFM mission is the promise of fresh food and quality nutrition. Crown Financial
God is using Crwon Financial Bible Study around the globe to teach His financial principles and transform lives. Crown Financial is a ten week course that gives biblical guidance for handling finances. The study requires students to complete daily homework, memorize and recite scripture each week, complete a weekly practical application exercise, pray daily for each class participant, and attend at least 8 of the 10 class sessions. Face 2 Face
"Knowing God better through worship – creating a better church community" Today, we (the body of Christ) live in a time where cell phones, e-mail, text and instant messaging dominate our means of conversation and interaction with each other. We as individuals and even believers have allowed this form of communication to dictate even how we interact with God. This type of communication even effects what we believe about God and the way we respond in worship to God. The Lord desires for us to see the truth about Himself, truth that he is unable to impart to us, because our hearts are not open, (because of our approach to him), to hear and receive truth from the Lord. The Lord as well desires for us to see the truth about ourselves, so that we can approach him in honesty (Psalm 51). It is through this honest worship, that God is able to reveal truths about Himself, truth, which will encourage and build us (the body) up in our faith and in our relationship with God. It is with this heart that God has created FACE 2 FACE worship. The Lord desires nothing more but for us to know Him as Father (Rom. 8:15-17) and friend. This relationship can only be established through (as David said) a broken and contrite (honest) heart. As we offer ourselves (Rom. 12: 1-3) in worship, opening our hearts to the Lord, we discover that the Lord sees us not as a denomination, but as Children of One Body. We are the Body of Christ! Glory Gals
Glory Gals is an official chapter of the National Red Hat Society and a viable ministry of Parkway Life Church. Our desire is to glorify God and to enhance His Kingdom through mission work, building and strengthening relationships, fellowship and beginning a witness through our words, actions and deeds. Glory Gals normally meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Fellowship activities are scheduled throughout the month. Back to top |
